In the year 2300, the world as we knew it fell into ruin...
But humanity would not go quietly. Using all of the resources, technology, and funding that were available to them, the men and women of the 24th century built our greatest achievement: the Megacity. It was a beacon of hope and the last bastion of humanity, a place that offered them a chance to survive and thrive.
And thrive they did.
As the population began to rise, new districts were constructed within the city, and a new society began to take center stage. A city-wide policing force, KNIGHT, was formed to keep the peace, and, for a time, the future never looked brighter—until the axions came.
A genetic offshoot, axions were humans with extraordinary and terrifying abilities, the likes of which no one had ever seen, and it wasn't long before they became a target of the humans' fear. Laws were enacted to try to control them, and after years of conflict and fearmongering, the very existence of axions and their genetics were outlawed in the city, criminalizing their existence.
The year is now 2680, and change is in the air. Axions are being systematically hunted down by KNIGHT, but much like the humans of the 2300s, they refuse to go quietly. The question now stands: what role will you play?
Will you be a KNIGHT officer charged with hunting down and eliminating this menace? Will you be a power-wielding axion and fight for your freedom? Or will you simply keep your head down and stay out of the spotlight while the city around you cries out and burns? That choice is yours.
