Spiderwick's Web

Oh what tangled webs we weave. Spiderwicks go back generations here in Agawam, but no one truly knows where they originated from. Some say we were made from the gods themselves. Others say we were born from the tangled weaves of spiders. Passed down through generations was that a lonely figure traveled through these parts back in the birth of Agawam. The lonely figure was described as a beautiful woman with honey silk hair. Golden blonde. Veela-like qualities were striking in her, and she charmed more than one person. Staying in Agawam it became obvious that she was expecting. She gave birth to a son she named Shadow Spiderwick. Then she disappeared back into the darkness again leaving him behind. Shrouded in mystery the boy was raised by the townsfolk of Agawam loved by one and all. He fell in love with a Primrose, but she married another leaving him heartbroken. It was years before he was to fall in love again with a beautiful school teacher who had come from parts unknown to teach at Ilvermorny. Falling in love during a short courtship they were united in marriage to one another. To this beloved union a son and a daughter were born. The son married and the legacy of the Spiderwicks went on down to the present day in Agawam.

Agawam Massachusetts was founded by Mohican Indians. Indians that had been hidden when the others were rounded up and placed elsewhere. Hidden in time and space it seemed. A magical town like no other hidden at the base of Greylock Mountain where Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is hidden in the heaven's above. Spiderwick's Web is the home of the Spiderwick. Many generations have lived here now, and it was built with Spiderwick hands and magic. Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is where the families attended school from the time they were 11 till they graduated their 7th Year at the age of 17. Mount Greylock is home to Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Down below the Mountain you will find Agawam and Greylock Grove. The nearest somewhat large town, Greylock Grove, is but a few miles from Agawam, and where you can find Crescent Alley and Full Moon Alley. There is also a Magical College called Aupaumet and Pucakan Health Center for the Magical community.
