Ilvermorny School[break]Of Witchcraft and Wizardry [attr="class","box1"] Astronomy Professor [break] Orion Dimitri MacKenzie was born in the Highlands of Scotland, and was seven the day the hunters attacked. He ran with his younger siblings Huckleberry Finn MacKenzie and Deserene Matilynn MacKenzie. They were unfortunately the only survivors of the attack. Their parents and aunt and uncles had fought to the death to give them time to escape. He doesn't think any of their cousins did either. He saw some of them fall as he also watched his parents fall when he stopped having heard his mother's scream. He ran then with His siblings almost dragging Huck as Deserene who was secure on his back. They were taken in by his dad's cousins in America. He learned to trust them over time, and came to love each of them. Not that she acts it sometimes, but yeah that's her. She teaches Native American Mythology more or less at Ilvermorny. She's been interested in it since she was knee high to a grasshopper, and would sit on her grandpa's lap listening to the old stories of the tribe she descends from. She could sit and listen to him for hours. Or at least till she fell asleep. Her grandfather still tells her stories that she hangs on every word. If she sees someone in need of help, she will happily jump up to help them as well. However, because she is quiet, that doesn't mean she's shy. She loves to have a little fun here and there when she is not working. She also enjoys learning new things about Herbology and is very skilled in it, which is why she accepted the position for the Herbology professor. She can also jump to conclusions and speak up before she knows all the facts, and her mouth has gotten her into trouble during her years at school because of that. While Cyrus had a great start in his life, he eventually found the rough edges of life. When he ended up in a duel between Dark Wizards and other wizards, he got caught in the fire. A purple spell had blinded him for his whole life. It hit the man hard, closing himself off from people except for the friends he had at his school years. While not wanting to continue and break down, with the help of his friends, he got through this. He learned to use his other senses and even use his abilities. It was there that he also met Artemis. The baby owl that stays close to him. Being his eyes and ears if needed. Ilvermorny School[break]Of Witchcraft and Wizardry [attr="class","box1"] Potions and Alchemy Professor [break] Celeste Elissia Vanderberg am a very happy person, bubbly, silly, and a lot of fun. Life is something that she take by the horns and hold on tight. Her family likes to have her around and call her home whenever possible because she just make the visits more pleasant. The joy she gets from being creative is a big part of her life. She likes to try new things, get dirty, make mistakes… She hasn't blown any body parts off yet or killed anybody by accident so she is pretty proud of that feat…though it was close a few times over the years. Though to be fair she has singed her eyebrows more often than she can count, her hands are a bit rougher than most other girls…even though she does use plenty of lotion. She did actually lose all her beautiful long hair once…oh that was painful not just physically her brothers teased me for months. She eventually was able to laugh about it though in the end. Where Travis, his twin brother, is most likely the most adventurous type, Emerson never backed down for a challenge. Just being only a few minutes older, it automatically made him one of those overprotective brothers. Making sure that Travis and later on Jasmine and Chad were not being harmed. Besides being overprotective, he learned to be well-mannered and showing respect thanks to the lessons of his grandmother. Making good use for it in his future. Besides the many sides of Emerson that his family sees, he could also be very emotional. He felt it when his mother needed it, but also when someone else needed it. It could always backfire against him. He knows it can be a trap. Being so open for his family and strangers or even the students. They could take advantage of it. She tries not to take things overly seriously because life's too short to stress about the little things. She's happiest when she's with her family, but she also loves to teach her students. Her passion for teaching shines through in how she teaches, or at least she believes it does. She tries to make sure everyone understands the easiest way she knows how to accomplish being successful in her class. Because she is easy-going and fun-loving, doesn't mean she can't get angry. She can get extremely angry and the quickest way to find out how she is when she's angry, is to mess with her mate or children. When she does get angry, sometimes it's hard for her to calm down quick enough to not just turn into a wolf, but thankfully, that doesn't happen very often.
